| We are seeking a person who is, first and foremost, pastoral and compassionate – someone who will be present for our people through all seasons of life. We are looking for a rector who is comfortable working collaboratively with lay leaders and who can build trust and strong relationships with the Vestry, staff, volunteers, and community partners.
We seek someone who can help us recognize the presence and work of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit in our everyday lives through engaging and relevant sermons grounded in our Episcopal tradition, while also maintaining a prayerful spiritual life. Our next rector should bring enthusiasm and energy to growing our congregation through family ministries, community outreach, and partnerships with community leaders. We recognize the need for change and pray that the Holy Spirit will guide us to someone who can honor our difficult past transitions while helping us move forward with joy, humor, healing, and fellowship. Most of all, we hope to find a rector who will inspire us to embrace the future with courage, faith, and hope. |
