Job Description
St. Timothy’s Danville is a warm, financially stable parish in the Diocese of California. We are located in the beautiful foothills of Mt Diablo in the East Bay Area of the San Francisco metropolitan area and have a long, welcoming history dating back to the early 1950s. We are seeking an Associate Rector whose primary passion is building deep, intergenerational connections in our parish family.

Primary Focus: Intergenerational Ministry & Community Life
We want empty nesters, pre-K families, octogenarians, middle-agers, teenagers and everyone in between to know each other, worship together, and serve the community as one integrated family. Multigenerational ministry is an area where we are seeking an inspired vision and energy. We are eager to empower the Associate to focus fully on building these relational bridges and equipping lay leaders.

Desired Qualifications & Characteristics

  • Builder’s Mindset: Experience (or strong capacity) in revitalizing ministries, organizing structures, and developing sustainable lay leadership.
  • Communicator: A thoughtful, engaging preacher and teacher who grounds parish life in grace and hospitality.
