Tweet your woman of the Bible

[Church in Wales — Press Release] Twitter followers are being invited to celebrate International Women’s Day by voting for their top Woman of the Bible.

The poll is launched by the Rev. Carol Wardman, Bishops’ Adviser for Church and Society, who tweets @CinWSociety. The results will be announced on Mothering Sunday (March 10).

Carol said, “We have the Woman of the Year and a Women’s Power List so we would like to find the Woman of the Bible.  From Ruth and Esther to Mary and the Samaritan woman – here’s  a book packed with stories of inspirational women, showing their strength and resilience throughout the ages. Now is our chance to celebrate them.”

To nominate your favourite woman, tweet her name #WomanOfTheBible before Sunday.
