Job Description

We are seeking a rector who will faithfully guide us, and walk alongside us as we grow into the people and parish God is calling us to be.

We’re looking for:

  • Meaningful, engaging preaching that connects Scripture to daily life, and inspires deeper discipleship
  • Commitment to both Saturday and Sunday worship services, recognizing that people encounter Jesus in different ways
  • Leadership and guidance in developing approaches to invite, welcome and connect others into life with Jesus
  • A unifying presence who fosters a spiritually, physically and emotionally safe community through healthy norms and boundaries
  • Collaborative leadership that works well with staff, vestry and lay leaders, encouraging broad participation
  • Strong administrative oversight of parish operations
  • A caring and welcoming pastoral style

St. George’s offers a 2200 sq.ft rectory, located on the church’s 9 acre property, in the growing suburban town of Clifton Park.  Our location offers easy access and abundant opportunities for a variety of cultural, educational, historical, and outdoor activities.
