| Cople Parish is a warm and loving Body of Christ devoted to a shared love of the teachings of the Gospel. A sense of community is at the forefront of what makes Cople Parish home for our congregants and we are actively focused on growing in that way. The sense of joy in our worship is palpable each Sunday, whether we gather in our colonial-era brick church or in our sanctuary on the water.”
Our historic parish is eager to work with a team-oriented leader whose sermons illuminate the Good News of the Gospel. We seek a priest who is passionate about pastoral care and helping nurture the spirits of our parishioners. Our laity is very active in our community and would like a rector who can help us deepen our outreach so that more people participate in our ministries and join our fellowship. Cople is a rural parish in the Chesapeake Bay region, an area full of history and an excellent place for those who love the outdoors. Some in our congregation have called Cople Parish home for generations but many are folks who have moved to the area more recently, and our area continues to grow. However we found our way here, we all come together to worship and work to better our community. |
