Missioner for Youth and Young Adults

The Bishop of East Tennessee seeks a Youth and Young Adult Missioner to join our staff. The Diocesan Youth and Young Adult Missioner, whether lay or ordained, serves as a catalyst, connector, and resource for youth and young adult ministries across the Episcopal Diocese of East Tennessee. This person equips congregations to form young disciples, fosters relationships among young people and their leaders throughout the diocese, and develops opportunities for spiritual growth, service, leadership, and Christian community.

The Youth and Young Adult Missioner works collaboratively with clergy, lay leaders, parents, and diocesan staff to strengthen existing youth and young adult ministries and cultivate new opportunities for ministry with young people. This person will particularly focus on strengthening connections between these ministries and Grace Point, as it grows into its role as the spiritual center of youth and young adult ministry in the Diocese.
