Minister of Music

Key Responsibilities

• Worship & Liturgies: Serve as organist for Sunday services (8:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.), feast days, Evensongs, weddings, and funerals. Select all service music in collaboration with the Rector.
• Choir & Talent Development: Direct parish choirs, train cantors/soloists, and establish a dynamic chorister program for youth.
• Program Management: Oversee the St. John’s Music Series, chair its Steering Committee, manage fundraising, and build local community partnerships.
• Administration: Manage music budgets, maintain the music library, oversee instrument care/organ restoration, and hire guest musicians as needed.
