Interim Rector

The Interim Rector will assume substantially the same responsibilities and privileges as the parish’s permanent rector. In addition to maintaining the mission and ministry of the parish, the Interim Rector will guide Holy Apostles through a healthy transition process by fostering reflection on their history, strengths, challenges, and future opportunities. Working in partnership with the vestry and the diocesan office, the Interim will help deepen the congregation’s understanding of its identity, strengthen lay leadership, clarify ministry priorities, and prepare for the process that will lead to the calling of a new rector.

The ideal candidate will possess strong preaching, pastoral, administrative, and interpersonal skills and demonstrate a capacity for guiding congregations through periods of change. Previous interim ministry experience or formal interim ministry training is preferred but not required.

This is a full-time position with compensation and benefits commensurate with diocesan guidelines and experience.
