Job Description
We are looking for a well-rounded and tech-smart communicator who wants to serve the people of God and be on the cutting edge of communications and tech for this progressive Episcopal Diocese. As Director of Communications, you’ll be working together with the staff of the Bishop of Oregon to manage information flow from the Diocese to the clergy and the 70 churches ranging from the top and bottom of the western side of Oregon. You’ll be working largely with digital communications, both in content development and sharing using e-newsletters, social media, and event communications, but also in long-range communications planning, some media relations, and managing the Diocesan website and IT.
