Diocesan Director of Communications
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications plan that aligns with the mission and vision of the Diocese.
  • Oversee all aspects of diocesan communications, including the website, social media channels, e-newsletters, and print publications.
  • Manage media relations, cultivating relationships with journalists and securing positive press coverage for the Diocese.
  • Provide communications support to the Bishop, Bishop’s staff, and parishes across the Diocese.
  • Oversee video and livestream production, ensuring a professional and engaging online presence.
  • Manage diocesan branding and ensure consistent messaging across all communications platforms.
  • Stay current on the latest trends and best practices in digital communications.
  • Lead and mentor a team of communications staff and volunteers.
A full benefit package is offered and the salary is negotiable based on experience. IT skills are a plus. We will have two contract individuals to pull in for projects and help with convention planning. They would be a part of an exciting and healthy diocesan staff.
