Join us Wednesday, July 17 at 7:00 p.m. (CDT) for a lecture by Dr. Andrew Thompson, associate professor of theological ethics and director of the Center for Religion and Environment.

In his lecture “Worldmaking and Environmental Reparation,” Dr. Thompson proposes that repairing the world built by slavery and colonialism requires an equally radical kind of worldmaking. The lecture shares a model of reparations for long-standing environmental and social injustices and describes how such reparative actions are being explored at the University of the South.

The lecture is free and open to the public and all are encouraged to attend. Join us on campus in Naylor Auditorium or online by registering on our website for the live-stream webinar.
